BrandStar’s “The Balancing Act” On Lifetime Television Introduces The Personal Trainer You Wear on Your Wrist

When you’re working out, are you doing it at the optimal levels for cardio fitness?  What about fat burning? Most women really don’t understand the intensity aspect of exercise and why monitoring heart rate is so important. To help viewers with this necessary aspect of exercising, one of the The Balancing Act’s fitness experts, Adriana Martin, talks to Jennifer Villani, Product Expert from Polar Inc., the firm that pioneered the heart rate monitor 32 years ago and has been leading the way in technological innovations and heart rate monitor/training computer firsts ever since.  The segment airs May 6th, May 13th and May 18th, or you can view it anytime at www.thebalancingact/polar

“The Polar FT40 is an amazing little training computer that offers many important features, including continuous heart rate monitoring, calorie counting and access to a free online community, www.polarpersonaltrainer.com,” says Villani.
“It takes into consideration a person’s weight, age, height, training goals – and more,” she says.  “And then, based on their physical condition on a given day – measured via heart rate – it calculates fat burning and fitness improvement zones.”

In 1977, Professor Seppo Saynajakangas founded Polar Electro to develop and market wireless heart rate monitors for sports professionals. More than three decades later, it is the brand of choice among top athletes and consumers looking to get fit.

Villani says the FT40 is part of a new generation of fitness training computers that encourage people to “listen to their bodies” to get the most from workouts and to stay motivated along the way. “For anyone wanting to get in shape through activities like going to the gym, jogging and active sports, the Polar FT40 is the ideal training partner,” she says.

“All fitness-conscious women need to understand their bodies so they can achieve their desired fitness level, improve exercise performance and enjoy a healthier lifestyle,” says Doug Campbell Executive VP of Programming for BrandStar Entertainment, the producers of The Balancing Act TV show. “We appreciate Jennifer getting to the heart of the optimal fitness regimen.”

BrandStar’s The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television examines A “Scentsational” Career Opportunity

Everyone can use extra income – to help pay bills or add a little luxury to your life. But finding a side job that fits your daily routine isn’t always easy. BrandStar Entertainment’s The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television will introduce you to a notable opportunity when it features Susan Suh, president of LMS Fragrances Inc. Viewers will learn what to look for when evaluating a home-based business and will enjoy an informative introduction to perfumes. The segment will air Monday, May 11th, or can be viewed at www.thebalancingact.com/perfume.

“People are being displaced in the workforce, having their hours cut back or simply feeling the anxiety of the economic downturn,” Suh says. “As a result, many are looking for alternative sources of income – of which direct selling and home-based businesses are a popular option.”

LMS Fragrances offers d’essense perfume and other affordable products “that will pamper both men and women,” she notes. “We enable women to experience the true luxury and self-esteem of wearing real perfume at prices nearly everyone can afford.”

The LMS website offers a two-fold benefit. Not only does it describe the business opportunity available, but also provides an education about fragrances. “In addition,” she said, “we enable people to shop online for d’essense products and enroll online to begin a d’essense business of their own.”

Many even find a new career path in MLM/Direct Selling.

“d’essense offers a fun and stress-free way to share the experience of wearing real perfume and other luxurious products while enabling you to earn a significant income,” Suh adds.

“Working from home is a great way to earn money without making a radical change in your lifestyle,” says Doug Campbell, Executive VP of Programming BrandStar Entertainment, the producers of The Balancing Act TV show. “This segment provides women with the opportunity to be their own boss.”

Learn About The Earned Income Tax Credit on The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television
The IRS Explains the Criteria
Pompano Beach 4/25/2009 04:34 AM GMT (TransWorldNews)

BrandStar Entertainment’s The Balancing Act on Lifetime television is explaining a tax credit that could put cash in their viewers’ pockets. Twenty to twenty-five percent of those eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit never claim it.  Why? Most don’t know about it!  To help viewers get all the money they deserve, the morning show has invited David Williams, the IRS’s Director of Electronic Tax Administration and Refundable Credits to The Balancing Act  TV Show to explain who is eligible along with other great tax time advice.  View the segment at www.thebalancingact.com/irs.

“The EITC is The Earned Income Tax Credit and it is a tax break for people who work, but don’t make a lot of money,” stated Williams.  “If your earned annual income was $41,646 or less you may be eligible.”
To qualify for EITC:

You must have been employed in 2008. Retirees are NOT eligible.
You must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid Social Security number.
If you meet these criteria, you could be eligible for up to hundreds of dollars in refunds!  To learn more visit www.irs.gov/eitc.

If you have further questions or need some personal help with your filing, consider visiting a volunteer tax assistance site. There are more than 12,000 locations nationwide, and probably one right in your community, where IRS-trained volunteers will determine your E-I-T-C eligibility and prepare your tax return free. To locate a volunteer site, call your community’s 2-1-1 or 3-1-1 number for local services.  Help is also available at your local IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center. You can locate the nearest Taxpayer Assistance Center in the blue pages of your telephone directory.

With the April 15th tax deadline looming, what is the best way to file your taxes? Williams strongly encourages e-filing to make sure the IRS receives your return.

“Keep in mind, all taxpayers, no matter their income, are eligible to use Free File Fillable Forms to complete and e-file their federal tax returns for free,” he says “Visit IRS.gov and go to the “Free File” page to access the Free File Fillable Forms”.

“In these economic times it is important that we educate our viewers about all the benefits they may be entitled to,” says Doug Campbell, Executive VP of Programming for BrandStar Entertainment, the producers of The Balancing Act TV Show. “We so appreciate the IRS visiting our show and increasing our knowledge!”
